Sizzix

UPDATE: Sizzix  Valentine’s Day Competition Winner has been announced! Was it you ?  http://goo.gl/isViUW
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi y'all,
Here's a card which I'd created for Sizzix. Very fortunate to be blogging for Sizzix this coming year and I look forward to share some Sizzix projects every Wednesday.

Cardstocks are an essential supply for me and I simply love how textures can be evidently shown on these colourful and heavyweight paper surface. For this card, I opted for a muted and mellow grey toned cardstock.
Minimalist Card
I ran my cardstock  between Sizzix Woodgrain texture plate ( #660408) through my Sizzix BigShot. The impressions of the woodgrain was imprinted so beautifully on the cardstock. The lines were crisp and clean.

Besides running the cardstock through the texture plate, I did the same to a piece of white vellum. Similarly, the result was the same. It is beautiful how light passes through this sheer piece of light paper! I layered the vellum on top of the cardstock. Making it seemingly seamless. Minimalist Card

To complete the card, I included white eyelets at the bottom of the card .

PINK PAISLEE'S

Hi y'all!

Here's wishing all a *Late* Greeting! Happy New Year and hope the coming year will bring you Joy, Happiness and Good Health =)

December left us in a blink and here're projects done in the recent weeks using Pink Paislee's Yuletide Collection. These are to date my current favourite memory keeping mode! Memories in planner/ album format. Real easy to journal and keep.

My December Daily using Yuletide's Notebook...

Envelopes were die cut using Sizzix dies. Lovely way to store small notes and other adorable embellishments!

A layout using the same collection.... can't do away without embellishing and clustering pretty details! In spite of the busy busy detailing, it works absolutely works with a white background.

Lastly, a couple of Winter themed card... the grey tones in this collection soothes and calms, don't you think :)

Hope to be back again!

Getting into the groove of the New Year and we're in the midst of revamping and rebranding our current site www.truffulaforest. Stay tune .... to some changes (AND SURPRISE!) VERY Soon!!
It's going to be better with more improvements to benefit you, my shoppers! =)

pssst: MORE planners, maybe?

Set of Cards

Hey all!

Checking in with a couple of Autumn - Themed Cards using Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane Collection.
The splash of purplish plum would be my favourite tinge in this collection. It's deep and regal making this color combination look warm and inviting!

The pair of foxes are darling too!

CARDS!

Card making is what I love to do when I want to "start" my creative engine...
A manageable 5"x6" white card stock is all i needed to pile my layers of pattern papers and embellishments.

Citrus Bliss Collection from Pink Paislee always looks great with white =)
I'll be back with more planner related stuff !

Easy Peasy

It just seems like … I think I've gone through a shift in my creative process.
Gone were the days when I could sit down for long stretch of hours to get projects done, fuss over details. I still do fuss over details and still love my cutting with the scissors. But I feel extremely accomplished when much is done in a flash! =)

So here it is, my less than 15 minute card using Pink Paislee's Overlays and transparent ephemeras from the awesome
Citrus Bliss Collection.
