Pink Paislee's C'est La Vie collection

If you haven't seen Pink Paislee's C'est La Vie collection, you Need to :).
This collection is my current favourite and it's so easy to fall in love with! I fell head over heels with the pretty peonies and picked up my crafting scissors and cut them out.

A layout using a mix of shabby chic and contemporary graphics. All of which belongs to C'est La Vie Collection. Brilliant how such a blend of gorgeous prints can work so perfectly together!

PINK PAISLEE'S

Hi y'all!

Here's wishing all a *Late* Greeting! Happy New Year and hope the coming year will bring you Joy, Happiness and Good Health =)

December left us in a blink and here're projects done in the recent weeks using Pink Paislee's Yuletide Collection. These are to date my current favourite memory keeping mode! Memories in planner/ album format. Real easy to journal and keep.

My December Daily using Yuletide's Notebook...

Envelopes were die cut using Sizzix dies. Lovely way to store small notes and other adorable embellishments!

A layout using the same collection.... can't do away without embellishing and clustering pretty details! In spite of the busy busy detailing, it works absolutely works with a white background.

Lastly, a couple of Winter themed card... the grey tones in this collection soothes and calms, don't you think :)

Hope to be back again!

Getting into the groove of the New Year and we're in the midst of revamping and rebranding our current site www.truffulaforest. Stay tune .... to some changes (AND SURPRISE!) VERY Soon!!
It's going to be better with more improvements to benefit you, my shoppers! =)

pssst: MORE planners, maybe?

Layout

I love the idea of using old pictures and re-document them. There have been SO many pictures digitally stored on the computer. So sometimes when I wish to reminisce good ole' time, I'll pull out a specific time frame and just go back in time.

Just like this picture in this photo. Picture was taken 5 years ago and I miss those times where kids are much younger, much easier to pose and dress up! Great memories, Great fun!

Here, I used Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane's Pattern papers and embellishments. Cedar Lane is well know for its rich hues and great contrast color combination. True to that! I am ALSO in love with the flip side pattern paper in this collection! I paired the lighter color palette and dressed up my layout with a softer tone on a white background.

Do take time to look through old pictures and maybe create a layout with one of the photos! =)

Pink Paislee's - MEMORANDUM

It has been a long while I last got excited about any paper craft collection. Over the years, my inclination and style had changed and possibly so with a more minimalist style compared to yesteryears. But the core haven't changed. That is to be a memory keeper creating & collecting memories.

Pink Paislee's NEW Memorandum Collection set my heart fluttering again - this time with LOTS of new product in line. Use-friendly, planner friendly, chic and stylish. Just my kind of style I like at the moment!

A couple of cards using Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge collection - pretty & sweet!

Thank you for dropping by!

Mixing Clear Accents with PINK PAISLEE'S

Hi all!

Here's a layout using one of my favourite collection this season - Atlas Collection by Pink Paislee's.
I used a whole lot of clear elements from this collection and simply adore the outcome.
Layering transparency one on top of another is really cool!

Besides the clear elements from the Ephemera Pack, I love Atlas Thickers Foil Chipboard! I added the iridescent thicker for my title. It’s dazzling when it catches light and shows luminous colours that seem to change when seen from different angles. Really pretty! These rainbow-like thicker are a Must-Have! - See more at: http://www.pinkpaislee.com/?p=45399#sthash.a646b7SS.dpuf

Hi all,

The team at Pink Paislee's had the honor to team up with Page Maps this month. With an awesome 3 photo sketch, we put ourselves to task and created a page based on the sketch :)

Did You Know ...

That May is National Photography Month? Over at Pink Paislee's, the team will be sharing tips on how to let your photos shine!
We’re living in a world of “Instant” at the moment and I’m so glad we can whip out our phone and snap precious moments in an instant. Instant memories! Don’t get me wrong, my DSLR still gets its love but for everyday moments, I turn to my trusted phone for convenience. On my layout, I’ve incorporated several photos of an excursion, captured using my built in camera on the phone.

Using more than 1 photo helps to create a flow in my picture-telling. With a couple more photos, it gives me the freedom to journal less and allow the pictures to narrate.

These series of pictures were taken in various places with many distracting backgrounds. To achieve a cohesive look, I converted these 4 pictures into a black and white collage. Printed them on my home printer and had them as the focal point on my layout.

I’m inclined towards grid style when it comes to scrapbooking on 12″x12″ layouts and Pink Paislee’s Insta-Kit (Citrus Bliss) came in handy. This package contains 4″x4″ Instagram cards with different designs on them. Each in the form of overlay, card sheets and frames. There are so many permutations in combining these cards and frames because the colors are well-coordinated. It’s hip to be square!

Here, I layered these frames and cards one on top of another and embellished each square window.

There you are, having several photos on a layout isn’t as difficult as it sounds, isn’t it.

FLAMINGOS Are Trendy!

Flamingos rule this week at Pink Paislee! This beautiful, tall and elegant creature found its way to my layout.

Pink Paislee’s Citrus Bliss ephemera pack, chipboard stickers are so comprehensive and it is full of so many sweet surprises that could be used in your everyday crafty projects. Here, I used several elements from the ephemera pack to embellish my layout.

As you can see, Polaroid Frames are dominant on this page. Each window is hand painted with water color and embellished with ephemera/stickers from the same collection.

Would love for you to swing by PINK PAISLEE'S BLOG =)

Layout

I know I hoard a lot more than I should and am really glad I've overcome the inertia to use up my supplies and create layouts which are meaning full and with products I really love. While waiting for new fabulous products from Webster's Pages, Heidi Swapp and Maggie Holmes, I'd better start clearing some of the past season's products….

Here's a layout using a birthday photo #throwback 2 years ago. A classic picture which embodied the simple joy of celebrating a sweet birthday...

A couple more layouts in the pipeline… =)

Altered Envelopes

This layout was created with the sudden urge to scrap.
Not with any photos in this instance. I have kept this collection from Crate Paper for a couple of weeks now and waiting for the RIGHT picture to go along. This was it.
Picture perfect shot taken in front of Sydney's Opera House last week.

Here's a Christmas themed embellished envelope created using a mix of old & new Christmas Collection from Webster's Pages.
Simply adore the ingenious invention of die cut machines! My collection of punches are getting rusty and utterly useless from our humid weather.

I'm SO EXCITED about our Christmas Market NEXT weekend (6 & 7th Dec). Details soon! =)
Here's a peak of what's on my table at the moment. MORE GOLD and red. Right for the coming holidays.

Layout

Occasionally, I do love challenges. Craft related, of course.
To help me clear my stash and really, to reminisce good old times we have as a family.
Just how long more will they corporate and allow me to click click click.

Here's one for My Mind's Eye's November Challenge using Find Your Wings & Fly collection.
One of my (many) favorite collection.

Have a blessed weekend, all.

Hello FALL

Although we don't experience Fall in our tropical climate, I can't help but make a layout. One of which we experienced our "real" Fall in October in Canada a couple of years back. Rekindling some beautiful fall memories!

Here's a pages using Melissa France's…

Webster's Pages [NEST] - Layout

Here's another layout created with my current favorite Webster's Pages NEST Collection.
Don't you simply love the teal-ish tinge on this collection.
I DO! =) Add a pop of yellow and the combination is stunning!

The addition of a tag for journaling purposes is quite an essential for me at the moment
It prevents my journaling from getting lost in the midst of all the embellishments.

Duh… I couldn't make up my mind. Is it 2014 or 2013 ?! What's happening to me …LOL

Hope you'll have a hand or two to get crafty this week!
Be blessed.

Been a long while since I've seen products thet made my heart skip a beat! =)
You'll see why with the brilliant combination of solid colors from Felicity Jane's debut kit "Charlotte".
It's Fabulous! - A Dash of Fushia completes the polished look.

Did I tell u I love the stamp set too?! haha. =)
