Sizzix

UPDATE: Sizzix  Valentine’s Day Competition Winner has been announced! Was it you ?  http://goo.gl/isViUW
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi y'all,
Here's a card which I'd created for Sizzix. Very fortunate to be blogging for Sizzix this coming year and I look forward to share some Sizzix projects every Wednesday.

Cardstocks are an essential supply for me and I simply love how textures can be evidently shown on these colourful and heavyweight paper surface. For this card, I opted for a muted and mellow grey toned cardstock.
Minimalist Card
I ran my cardstock  between Sizzix Woodgrain texture plate ( #660408) through my Sizzix BigShot. The impressions of the woodgrain was imprinted so beautifully on the cardstock. The lines were crisp and clean.

Besides running the cardstock through the texture plate, I did the same to a piece of white vellum. Similarly, the result was the same. It is beautiful how light passes through this sheer piece of light paper! I layered the vellum on top of the cardstock. Making it seemingly seamless. Minimalist Card

To complete the card, I included white eyelets at the bottom of the card .

Pink Paislee's C'est La Vie collection

If you haven't seen Pink Paislee's C'est La Vie collection, you Need to :).
This collection is my current favourite and it's so easy to fall in love with! I fell head over heels with the pretty peonies and picked up my crafting scissors and cut them out.

A layout using a mix of shabby chic and contemporary graphics. All of which belongs to C'est La Vie Collection. Brilliant how such a blend of gorgeous prints can work so perfectly together!

It's ALWAYS Fantastic to create with a kit with lots of well-thought embellishments, papers... saves time and is a breeze to put quick pages together... Here, I created a few projects using October's Main kit from HERE.

Easy Peasy

It just seems like … I think I've gone through a shift in my creative process.
Gone were the days when I could sit down for long stretch of hours to get projects done, fuss over details. I still do fuss over details and still love my cutting with the scissors. But I feel extremely accomplished when much is done in a flash! =)

So here it is, my less than 15 minute card using Pink Paislee's Overlays and transparent ephemeras from the awesome
Citrus Bliss Collection.

Canvas Corp Valentine's Pin It and Win Challenge and More...

Hey guys,

Love is all around in February!
Here's one of my first few (well, my 2nd V-Day related card, actually). A rustic Valentine's card created using Canvas Corp Brand's supplies.
The burlap background adds a unique texture and looks completely handmade. Love that.

These days, I am simply hooked to my die cuts (I use Sizzix, PapertryInk's and SpellBinder's dies).
Simply run the dies through my Sizzix Big Shot and I get the shapes I want. Saves times and it's crisp too!
At times, I really do prefer my Sizzix over my Silhouette for intricate patterns.

Here, I die cut scallop heart-shapes on 7-Gypsies pattern papers and "packed" the vellum envelope with many Lovelies. As though it's bursting with all things sweet.

So, we've a Challenge for all of you! Want a chance to win $50 worth of Canvas Corp Brand's?
Do visit CCB's blog to see what other creative V-Day cards our designers have come up with! =) It's going to be FUN!

I know I will never be able to accomplish much if I were to attempt weekly Project Life spread. I opted for something that's sustainable and I'll progress along as and when I have a story to tell :) Here's a couple of pages from here ….

Finally…. I just got to share these…. Matt Patent Metallic A5 Organizers. (Bigger than Personal A6Size).

WEBSTER'S PAGES - NEST

SO Great to be creating again =)
This time, using Webster's Pages newest collection.
Light teal, Home theme and the mix of cool and warm tones.
Perfect in every way.
Check out the entire product range HERE.

Seems so difficult to stop making beautiful things with this range.
Can't wait to move on to other fabulous collections from WP.

Each motifs were cut and layered one on top of another. Teal is such an easy color to work with. Pair it with white - my perfect combination.

Here's another random project created with cut outs.
A couple of vellum white envelopes. The sheerness of vellum makes any project look so feminine and elegant!

Thanks for popping by!

CARD

It has been more than 10 years since I started scrapbooking and no secret - glitter and bling is one of my FAVOURITE, cannot-do-without item.
So you can say the least i'm glad VERY Glad GOLD is so trendy now. I'm SO thrilled. Mix black and gold . Pffft…. Totally love this sleek chic combination.

So My Mind's Eye's September Challenge challenges one to make us of glitter. I accentuated the pattern motifs with Stickles and stuck on MME's Mildred Enamel Shapes. I LOVE Market Street Collection!

A dab here and there on the motifs simply lift the image and make it visually interesting!

Have a good Thursday!

Sheer Joy with flowers ...

It ALWAYS gives me great satisfaction and delight when creating with Prima flowers.
Certainly, I miss my time designing for them a couple of years back! =)
Such privilege again, to have the honor of using Prima's gorgeous products for Scrap365 Magazine. This time for Scra365's Blog May Product Highlight...

A 12x12" layout page. Boy, this has to be THE page. It was created swiftly when my creative voice started to call.

Here's a card. Totally adore the background - created using distress inks. LOVE my distress ink pads!

Since dabbling with Project Life's Pocket System, I've shelved the idea of creating more mini albums. This is one of the few which will come in handy for some of my photos!

Thank you for stopping by!

Webster's Pages Family Tradition & Inkido's

Hi all!

Here's one piece using Webster's Pages Family Tradition collection.... perfect for Fall! Just love its versatility!

Here's a random page for my Project Life Album...
I started my album somewhere in May and I am absolutely sure I'll NOT be able to catch up from Week 1 in Jan.
So, to suit my pace, I do random events/ purposeful ones to help me keep track of what's happening.
