i can't think of a title....

i've heard the state of your wardrobe directly translates the state of your mind.
HOW True for me.
My mind now: disorganized, unsettled, living for today...and i might fail u if u ask me what day it is today. whatever. think i can pretty much skip the description of how the wardrobe looks.

One more week before we meet March.
And ah..., Hope is near.
We should be shifting to the new place as planned... God willing.

These in the mean time, keeps me ridiculously high... knowing the misery will come to an end soon.

and some stuff done using Tattered Angels' Glimmer Glam/Glaze. Bearing in mind we need to experiment with metal, I went ahead with a metal fork and spoon...

Love the shimmery effect. Subtle yet glimmery in glittery glaze.
and the little white resin from Melissa Frances' has been glamorized with glimmer glaze.

the week that passed hadn't been a fantastic one.
One month into mainstream elementary school, our eldest is coping well. We're just thankful she's adaptable despite the very stressful and competitive environment.
Her mom? can't say the same. ha! Just glad the weeks are flying pass.

The First week of School

The first 2 weeks of school went great for our eldest, we're SO proud of her.
she is so adaptable and sociable. her mama has a lot to learn from her =)
and i won't lie and say i enjoy travelling to school each day....
it's exhaust'g spending so much time on the road just to get our daughter to her school. the evening traffic jam is a killer and a big big drag. My deepest respect to those who make a living from driving...
In between, clearing the new place (much much much nearer), ready for an over haul.
But that will take months.
can you pick up the hint; I am So ready to move...

Lots to update .... but i'll leave that for another time.
not much to show 'expt some stuff i did earlier ...

Indescriable

it was my first time conducting classes outside Singapore.
I'd been spoiled rotten.
My swift trip to Malaysia was short BUT i felt like i was walking on a red carpet!
My deepest heartfelt THANKS to the owners and staff of Papier, for your generosity and so much efforts to make this maiden trip SO memorable.
Right down to the home-made treats just for this event. Really , i have never felt SO WELCOMED and experienced such treatment. THANK YOU for all the little details to make my stay so so comfortable!

I cannot believe what i see and how everything was made so perfect!

the lunar new year L ...o....n....g weekend was GREAT but i was so looking forward to my routine. i just crave for my-everyday.
and i am really glad to return to my paper and glue.

so, i've been plauged by a very popular question.
When will be sending our little boy ( now coming to three...) to the nursery.
Most often than not, i just shrug cause i'm not sure.
Truth is he is not ready.
Or rather I AM NoT ready...
At All.
it's a good thing the government did not enforce preschool (nursery) program..
seriously, i mean don't you think 3 is still a little to young ?
but of course i listen with politeness to kind advices thank you very much. mama knows best.

so i abstained from my pretty paper and glue for a few days.
it's great meeting them again ! :)

just before the chinese new year hols, i dished this for my local store.
We were given mediums to work with and using mist, crackle paint, a simple white cardstock had its makeover ...
i went to town with bottles of mist,paint and embossing powder. This was the look before i slapped on the photo.

another using Pebbles Inc. i was the host this week at the pebbles inc blog...
i challenged our team mates to show us their individual style and here is mine.
i (would like to)think i am quite an ephemeral girl at heart...Ha!
i just love to mix the old (script) and new together ...whether it is acid free doesn't concern me so much... thanks , J for the photos!

a new academic year has began for my eldest and this shall be her last year in Kindy.
bittersweet emotions cause she'll cross another milestone in 12 months .
yet, i can't wait for normalcy.of course we enjoyed the kids' company during the one hoilday break But i crave for my routine and some quiet time with our little boy ...

wierd thing.
i thought our methological weatherman forecasted rainy days until January...
i've been waiting for some wet weather and thunder storms.
nothing of that sorts the past week. but it's good enough to experience some wind.
o well ... they kept my hopes high. :)

did a simple layout ... these pictures where taken in the recent vacation at Bintan cludmed.
The kid's club were having a concert and OMY ! our little girl showed us what we didn't know.
We didn't know she LOVES the stage.... i was worried sick when they shoved her to the front row centre position and given 24 hours to learn the dance routine.
this mom was so silly. i assumed she would back out, get jittery ... such bitter sweet emotions. our girl has grown up *dab eyes*
