Sheer Joy with flowers ...

It ALWAYS gives me great satisfaction and delight when creating with Prima flowers.
Certainly, I miss my time designing for them a couple of years back! =)
Such privilege again, to have the honor of using Prima's gorgeous products for Scrap365 Magazine. This time for Scra365's Blog May Product Highlight...

A 12x12" layout page. Boy, this has to be THE page. It was created swiftly when my creative voice started to call.




Here's a card. Totally adore the background - created using distress inks. LOVE my distress ink pads!



Since dabbling with Project Life's Pocket System, I've shelved the idea of creating more mini albums. This is one of the few which will come in handy for some of my photos!

Yay ! the Weekend is here ...
i'm trying hard not to let me weeks and days slip by in a blur ; so i try to recall what happened throughout the day and throughout the week.
and anything a little out of the ordinary, i'll write it down ...
so far, it helps...
Paper and glue aside, at least i know i'd been productive.

Can't go through the week without playing with my paper and glue.

and i've been trying to make good use with my mediums. experimenting , trying to find my voice with these... Tried and i love this ! have i ever told u i love the embossing powder ? right, so maybe i'm a little late in getting to know the power of embossing :)

the lunar new year L ...o....n....g weekend was GREAT but i was so looking forward to my routine. i just crave for my-everyday.
and i am really glad to return to my paper and glue.

so, i've been plauged by a very popular question.
When will be sending our little boy ( now coming to three...) to the nursery.
Most often than not, i just shrug cause i'm not sure.
Truth is he is not ready.
Or rather I AM NoT ready...
At All.
it's a good thing the government did not enforce preschool (nursery) program..
seriously, i mean don't you think 3 is still a little to young ?
but of course i listen with politeness to kind advices thank you very much. mama knows best.

so i abstained from my pretty paper and glue for a few days.
it's great meeting them again ! :)

just before the chinese new year hols, i dished this for my local store.
We were given mediums to work with and using mist, crackle paint, a simple white cardstock had its makeover ...
i went to town with bottles of mist,paint and embossing powder. This was the look before i slapped on the photo.





a layout i created for no reason using webster pages.


another using Pebbles Inc. i was the host this week at the pebbles inc blog...
i challenged our team mates to show us their individual style and here is mine.
i (would like to)think i am quite an ephemeral girl at heart...Ha!
i just love to mix the old (script) and new together ...whether it is acid free doesn't concern me so much... thanks , J for the photos!

year end closing post

i'm glad the year is coming to a close soon.
no doubt, every year has its own sets of Good and Bad.
and i'm thankful for faith, family and friends to help ride through tough times.
i am ready for a new year, new calendar, fresh beginnings...u can say i am all so ready to say goodbye to 2009.

i did a melancholic layout using RoseMoka's newest paper collections.
tonnes of fun playing with masking tape, music script, misting, paint, embossing , printing on canvas sheets, etc.. super therapeutic. i thought it looked pretty moody lol !
this piece is about my current perspective 'bt people...
how people are such complex and complicated creatures; how they disappoint and sometimes we don't really reap what we sow in real life.
