Document December

Hiyall!

Has it sunk in that it's December already?!
The first week has since passed and we're well into the last of 2015.

Over at Pink Paislee's, we're counting down to CHRISTmas and documenting December traditions/activities using Yuletide Journal in the Yuletide Collection.

Do check out more inspirations by my other talented team mates!

Simply love die-cuts! Here, I used envelope die-cuts from Sizzix and it's a really easy way to make use of several pieces of pattern paper on a project!

The days seem to fly by! Don't let those precious & sweet moments slip by :)

Altered Envelopes

This layout was created with the sudden urge to scrap.
Not with any photos in this instance. I have kept this collection from Crate Paper for a couple of weeks now and waiting for the RIGHT picture to go along. This was it.
Picture perfect shot taken in front of Sydney's Opera House last week.

Here's a Christmas themed embellished envelope created using a mix of old & new Christmas Collection from Webster's Pages.
Simply adore the ingenious invention of die cut machines! My collection of punches are getting rusty and utterly useless from our humid weather.

I'm SO EXCITED about our Christmas Market NEXT weekend (6 & 7th Dec). Details soon! =)
Here's a peak of what's on my table at the moment. MORE GOLD and red. Right for the coming holidays.

Getting into the Mood of Christmas

It really isn't too early to start planning for Christmas!
Essentially only 10 weekends to 25th December?

Webster's Pages just seems to get everything right each time.
Look at the brilliant [All That Glitters] Collection released in time for Christmas….
Here are a set of embellished glass tine white paper bags - Great for little gift cards!

Have a good weekend!

blessed Christmas AND saying Thanks

haven't been scrapbooking a whole lot recently.
we've Been busy preparing for the coming holidays and o yah, forgot to mention we just got back from SunwayLagoon in Kuala Lumpur. needless to say, it was fun for the kids getting to enjoy the company of 6 wonderful families.

being away from paper and glue makes this girl stuck.
honestly, i am not in the mood to do anything crafty. let's hope this won't be for long... anyhow, managed to stir up something for MadeWithLove and PebblesInc.

And i'm falling in love with baking all over again...
our little girl and me played with peanut butter, eggs and sugar and had this ready in less than 30 min. Totally easy and delicious !! No flour involved ; no mess.

lastly, i just feel like saying thank you to my blog readers. Please know you are very much loved and appreciated. Thanks for making time to drop by and making the effort to type comments, linking to this blog and following the blog. All of you make this journey more special. i am thankful.
won't be back till after Christmas, so have a merry merry blessed Christmas !

have u noticed ...

- i blog mostly on mondays, tuesdays and sometime wednesdays... i didn't until now :)
- i included a {My tutorial} category at my sidebar. do check out if any off the page projects interest you...

this year is special.
Special in a non spectacular sense.
this is our first Christmas without dad. the void since this june remains empty and it probably will.
One page i did using the newest Rose Moka (background damask paper) and Graphic45's . it's about reminiscing great old days with him. see the picture? both of the pics had him carrying a then-scrawny me. Just like in his final breathe, he held on to me...so i leave u to imagine what an emotional crumble i was after finishing this page.

these christmas stuffs that i made, would have probably gone to adorn my dad's home if he was still around .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i probably will not blog till near Christmas, i'll leave u with some stuff i did the past few weeks. lots of Christmas themed projects. i think i've never done this many in any of the years i spend scrapbooking.

one santa's display using Graphic45's . i used an empty Prima container to trap the jolly old santa... tutorial can be found along my side bar.

Nikki Sivil's blog is hopping with activities through out the month. Do check it out and every 16th of each month is my blog host day... here's a sneak of what i'm gonna post.

and lastly, a winter themed house using Webster Pages....

it is great fun playing with papers !
take care and brace yourselves if you are going down orchard road (our very busy shopping street in singapore) ...

there's so much going on in orchard; it's a crazy mess ...
no wonder cause there's so many fun stuff to be part of !
- Hear Vocaluptuos an acapella group caroling in front of paragon on sat, sun and Christmas eve. trust me they are SO good !
- the new 313@Somerset : free photo taking with santa ! YAY! :)
- Snow Play @ Tanglin (some foamy snow fun)
- the glitzy new orchard ION .

so much for our everyday thing ... yes, i've been going out ...:)

Cards and etc.

wierd thing.
i thought our methological weatherman forecasted rainy days until January...
i've been waiting for some wet weather and thunder storms.
nothing of that sorts the past week. but it's good enough to experience some wind.
o well ... they kept my hopes high. :)

been playing with Christmas themed papers and i'm just loving Graphic 45 's Christmas Past collection. Charming !

speaking about Cards, here are some i did for webster Page's christmas crop ...
Love maya road's metal tins ! SO useful to store beautiful things !

did a simple layout ... these pictures where taken in the recent vacation at Bintan cludmed.
The kid's club were having a concert and OMY ! our little girl showed us what we didn't know.
We didn't know she LOVES the stage.... i was worried sick when they shoved her to the front row centre position and given 24 hours to learn the dance routine.
this mom was so silly. i assumed she would back out, get jittery ... such bitter sweet emotions. our girl has grown up *dab eyes*

hope your holiday planning 're one track !
Be well ...
