Happy Tuesday !
we celebrated Singapore's National Day and the long weekend had us rested ; hope you are too ...
we are EXICITED !
counting down to taking a break soon and the more i think about it the MORE i feel the excitement building... ':) spirits are getting high and hearts are singing...

and what makes it MORE exiciting - someone VERY nice will be bringing me to see something i've always wanted to experience. something not found here where i live.
o my, i seriously cannot wait to see her ! some of you might know her too :)
keep guessing, i hope it all materialise so i can show you WHO I WILL MEET ! :)
(please Tell me stuff if you are around Burnaby, VanCouver i'll love to hear them... !)*ahem... excuse my olympic logo lol can't find anymore appropriate pic* :P

such cute luggages i'm drooling ....if only these Streamline luagges come along with me.

IF Only...
so currently, anything Nautical calls MY name :)

anyway, here's a piece i made for leisure. sometimes scrapping without any intention is really quite relaxing...aqua and peach combination was an accidental find. quite love it actually.

finally laid my textured JenniBowlin's cardstock to rest here... just couldn't bear to part with it. the journaling reads :
i taught you lovely daughter, how to ride your bike (never mind this luge thing is not a bike lah...those bicycle pictures i took didn't turn out exactly how i wanted.) I ran along beside you until you got it right. Finally you did not need my hand to set you straight. so i ran along aside you just to see your face...

some more to come over the week ... thanks thanks thanks for hopping by !

Hi All...

As mentioned earlier, here's one using all new MELISSA FRANCES Home For the Holidays collection.

i cannot get over Melissa France's adorable pink christmas trees. LURVE 'em!

... this week's color palette inspiration from THE COLOR ROOM was a little challenging for me ... and i sprinkled with some DUSTY ATTIC goodness!

this shot of our girl made my nose twitchy again... i'm at a loss of words to describe how much she has grown right before my eyes, into a beautiful little being both inside and out...

August Scarlet Lime Kits just arrived at my doorsteps and gotta warn you ... if you are into retro ... (not the usual retro style if that's what you are thinking), you've got to look out for it come August! Scarlet Lime is doing a MAJOR giveaway on their blog. Check it out HERE !
Don't forget to check out Scarlet Lime's ever popular Frugal kit too ! SO much goodness ! JULY newsletter has all the information :)

and lastly, takin' a bow.
this month spells my last (for the year) will Made With Love as a designer.
will be taking a long break till next year. In the meanwhile, i'll still be conducting workshops with Made With Love. Do check out the newsletter on 1 August :)

Melissa Frances, Glitz Designs and The Color Room #16

The coming months will bring lots of changes and we are already looking forward to it... hopefully a new place, new environment and i am SO looking forward to new furnitures :) Been browsing for ideas and I wish we have some pretty vanities like these ... i digress :)

This layout was inspired by color prompt from TCR #16... what can i say :) The color combos are always inspiring although i must confess it is not always easy for me to work with certain colors... but i always look forward to each color prompt for it helps me to use up my evergrowing stash....

the palette is warm and pretty isn't it ! and doesn't it look a little Christmasy too... THAT dusty attic's chipboard bird is so pretty!
and if you aren't aware, Melissa Frances came up with a LOVELY Christmas Line this round. Nostalgic, retro ... i can already smell my warm cholocate :)
Check out inspirations from my fellow team mates on the Melissa Frances blog! hope to share mine soon .... really excited !

and here's my sharing using Glitz Designs using two matchboxes. LOVE sihouettes and can't say anything more to add to my current crave for them !

and i'm wishing for more cooler and rainy days ahead, minus the flash floods :)
and o yes, want to mention that I was contacted by Give Away Scout, a site that makes it easy to find giveaways etc. online. Their widget is to the right on my blog. Check them out if you are interested and win something for me too !
Stay Dry and be Safe....
Blessings.

Finally... yesterday marked the last class for my first ever workshop :)
a BIG BIG THANK YOU to ALL who came and gave your words of encouragement and giving me your support. I Truly appreciate it - SO MUCH !

this is what it looked like... my 5 page acrylic album in its entirety.
but I thought i'll just upload only my cover page.

a crazy busy week behind might mean a less occupied week ahead... but fat chance for me, this week speaks madness as well. Craftwise, I'm hosting Scrap Dares #2 (only open to singapore scrappers, sorry) for Made With Love this second half of the month (i can't believe July will be gone like that !) and we're challenged to use FASHION as our inspiration.... details can be found HERE.
This piece was inspired by pleats and ruffles

ok, i am tempted to tease a little with what i'll be conducting coming Aug/Sept. Do download MadeWithLove's newsletter come 1st Aug :)

be blessed,

em

Webster Pages & Jenni Bowlin's

Hi all ...

Guesting for Webster pages and Jenni Bowlin's 'd been SUCH A TREAT !
here're another layout using Webster Pages...

i'm not a natural smile-er, takes more effort for me to smile than to frown ... bad. yet i know the choice to put on the smile works multiple folds. it's slowly changing... this page is a spin off from my own inner thought...

some guest designing for Jenni Bowlin's July Kit... not a doubt her products truly inspiring !

i used papers from magazines for the inner pages.Masking tape and the machining were used to keep them in tact and i stamped the masking tape to create a unique mini book spin. These pages will be used as a base for my post it note pads which are lying everywhere... cool, i love the look of magazine papers and just love how this turned out.

this page title reads 28 miles... this is one memorable experience we'll never ever forget. The trip up a dormant volcano in hawaii and rode our way down 28 miles on a bike. unforgettable. standing in the clouds and experiencing the wonders of God ; it send goose bumps to be so standing so near to His breath taking artistry. Indescribable.

some more using JB's July kit.

a couple of more pictures using JB's products ...

and finally a layout using The Color Room's #14 palette...

i used green as a dominant color ; not an obvious choice if not for the wonderful splash of inspiring colors !

i'm finalizing my Aug class samples and busying with some other stuff... so nothing much from me till much later.

Thanks so much for coming by ... have a good week.
Be blessed...

Blah blah blah...

Can you believe CHA is round the corner again ?!
wow-whee... it's always exciting to see what manufacturers have up their sleeves ...

my eyes opened big when i saw Glitz Design's sneaks... Woaw... even if i'm not on their team, these WILL BE on my WANT list !

Likey them ALL ! can't decide which is my favourite collection ... ! might be the first :)

thank you Creative Imagination for a blog feature.

I think i shall stay away from sugary sweet layouts for awhile. i cringe each time i look at my layouts now. Yikes yikes ...
i wish i could inject some testorene on my layouts....
But i know i won't stray too far ... :)

hope you are all well ...
