Webster's Pages had a Beautiful and Special Story to kick start this blog hop.
If you haven't read the story, please check out Webster's Pages Blog again ok ?
We were asked to share why we scrapbook ....

Q: Why does Em Scrapbook ?

A:
You know what? I used to think I scrapbook because I wanted to document milestones, pick up and capture fleeting moments. To a certain extent, I know it is STILL true.
But as I journey through this paper craft, I began to realize more. More about myself and why I decide this is what I want commit and do hmm... for as long as I want to ?

As a full time mom, we face our good and overwhelming days. My craft gives a sense of self, peace and purpose as a mom and as a woman. Creating my art gives me balance, fulfillment and renewal of my spirit! No doubt, each night I carve out time kneading ideas and dabbling with paper and paint, I speak to my Blessed Assurance. Not only does it bring joy, it brings rest for me to unwind. By coupling my maternal instinct with my creative actions, I become more well - rounded and positive. And you know, I personally think creating art has a positive influence on our kids' lives. I hope to inspire and hopefully have them follow my lead to experiment, make mistakes through art and gain some appreciation. Of course, this path I take is not static. It changes and evolves. All I know is I LOVE what I do. :) Know more about me, already ?! :)

Most importantly, I know it is JUST a hobby ... You must be thinking just a hobby still need to talk so much?? haha!! I mean come on, life where i live is so stressful already. I don't need additional unnecessary burden.
