tell me ...

what is the most detestable creature on earth in your opinion ?
mine - flying lizards. hands down !
lizards in itself are such a sight. and when they fly - foof !
and we have to live with them ... one behind the fridge and one behind our dryer.
how nice to have them visit each night without fail. meet me in the kitchen .
i'm learning... learning to co-exist with these drop-from-wall-to-tabletop-to floor-in-great- speed lizards. i'm really not sure , i haven't heard of anything that wards off lizards. please please tell me if u have a solution. anything ! i'm desperate if u can hear me ... :)

thanks for some of your kind emails and messages.
it has been exactly 2 months since my dad's passing. we miss him.
i miss him. :(
there were times where i stepped into a stall, thinking of buying him his favourite food.
then realising in time there's no need to. not anymore.
then there were times of sudden outburst in public. yeah, go figure how i cried in front of a horror movie poster. my hubby got clueless.
it's getting better , emotions are settling in. but there are the moments ...

i've been thinking of making a black book. so i did one to help me cope.
one for me to write my journey with my daddy, our photos, my eulogy to him, his last moments etc etc etc....
he had been ill since i was a tween.
so, our father and daughter moments were pretty much limited.
they are special, scarce and treasured.
okie.... i got to stop talking about this now ...

moving on ....
here's one using PebblesInc.
i'm really impressed with PebblesInc products and especially their glittered chipboards !
and i love the versatility of their paper lines - lots for the non pink gender.

(pls click for a larger image)

i'm pretty obsessed with yellow now. so yellow papers score! :)
a little peek of my current fave Pebbles Inc papers...

and lastly a page using websterPages for their july's challenge.

before i forget,

It gets easier with time, but I agree, there are still times that I will pass by something that will remind me of a loved one and I will end up in tears. Lots of hugs for you and your family.

You got me laughing with the lizard. I absolutely hate them and they seem to follow me anywhere I go. I once had 1 drop on my lap. Totally died from it! haha... I dont have solutions but put lizard traps. I also spray Baygone on them. That book you made is precious. May you pour your heart to the Lord. He will heal you.

Try pandan leaves. You can leave chop/cut them into pieces in a pretty glass bowl (think potpourri) in your kitchen. My friend's granny swears by this. No more flying lizards or cockroaches!

I have nothing against lizards but I absolutely hate hate hate cockroaches! I know that my mom used to put bits of food onto sticky traps. It really works. Coz now mine and her hse has no more lizards. But you do have the horrid task of getting rid of it....
On a happier note, I've uploaded 2day's pics liao! Go see go see! Very very nice! I like! Hee hee!
