dead quiet

i'll be surprised if anyone reads this anymore :)
i was occupied with a close friend's wedding stuff.
crafting and creating.
playing with flowers, paper and breathing glue. lol.
i think i've never done anything in this speed...
it's crazy.
nevertheless, i liked the end result...
can i bribe u to say these are nice baskets ?! hee.

in between, i managed to squeeze in these :
some stuff using Graphic 45's and Tattered Angels'.

One using Rosa Moka.
this lil fella's sister insisted he looked like bob the builder character.
and i saw some truth to that :)

i'm glad making the wedding baskets kept me from being wrecked crying bucket.
it has been more than a month since my papa's passing.
after completing the baskets, i was back to a cry baby - Again ?!

i guess that's the part of the grieving process ...

Hi Em,

The grieving process is a long process. Even today I did a layout of my great grandma and as I was doing the journaling I started crying, only to smear the brown ink and make a mess on my layout.

Your work is lovely!

Hugs and Take Care!

Reading your post gave me a shock, my mom passed away 2 months ago and I experience the same "waves" of grief as you describe. I guess it will get less but right now it's there when you least expect it. Want to wish you a lot of strength and hope you'll soon feel better.
Wanted to say that I just LOVE your scrapbooking style! It's fabulous!

I like the basket! It is lovely. If I wasnt already married I would let you make me one! :)

You really need to allow yourself to cry. It's part of the healing process. I lost my father 7 years ago and it has gotten easier but sometimes it still happens.

Hang in there and keep making beautiful things. Glue sticks can take away tears!! :)
