LIBERATION

i've been waiting for this day for a pretty long time.
The day we took down the baby cot = liberation day for us.
More for me, really.

It means more space and more significantly, our #2 has grown up...
here's the BEST part .... i Took one of the side and converted it and brought it to my scrap space.

It's SO USEFUL !!

Love the white and the useful railings...

the hooks and metal hangars are SO Very useful ! i think by now u should have guessed what i do for a living :)

Have a good week :)

you're not saving the cot for the next Baby? ;) that's a wonderful idea Em.

we have an antique baby cot so... don't think hanging it up will be approved by the hubby :P and it's still in use as it's big enough up until they turn 6 ;)

wishing you and family a Joyous Weekend!

Bravo!!!!
That is wonderful.
My son's crib is downstairs in the basement. (He is 15 years old!!!)
People just dont understand why I wont just throw it out but I kept thinking I can do something like what you've done or even use the side railing somewhere in the garden but unfortunately I haven't done anything with it YET.
Hey - He's only 15...
Maybe by the time he's 30...
LOL

I love the music you have on your blog. I've actually been listening to it at night when I scrapbook because it's such a beautiful collection of music. Also, we just took the sides off of our twins' cribs. Since I had just recently seen your idea I brought the sides into my room and am going to use them. My husband was happy because he didn't have to find a place to store them. Thanks for the inspiration.
