Dainty Pretty Things ....

i know i shouldn't even be here ... just gimme 5 min and i'll get out of here and get more important things done.

two and half more months before the new year and i think we've got lots to do. (*aaakkkk*) things that need to be sorted out before the new academic year and i think i'm going into panic attack soon .... O Lord, help me!

temporal help came in the form of these ...
serious treasures i found along the way while in Bellingham, Washington ....

vintage paper patterns, milk cups and plates, linen and vintage baubles made me go very weak in the knees! believe it or not, my hubby came along with me to pick these stuff :)

and lastly , did this cake stand for a friend's wedding. Flowers never fail to perk me up ... while these delightful beauties bring temporal relief, real life issues 're egging me to get moving ...

till another time ....

Meeting and Antiquing with Carolyn Peeler ...

I traveled approximately 8,005 air miles from Singapore to Vancouver and waited for a moment like this - waited to take a picture with Senior Creative Director from Melissa Frances

Meeting this beautiful, cute and talented Lady was one of my HIGHLIGHT this trip.
She just KNOWS exactly where to bring me.
When i knew i was going to meet her in real life, my vacation-excitement meter shot up several knots! :)
Thank you again,Carolyn.
Thank you for all your sharin' too ! Always yearned to go antiquing and BUY stuff! so i simply cannot express how grateful i am !:)

I already feel like my trip is so fruitful. U know how you feel after eating a good warm meal, feeling so satisfied? that's the way I am feelin'. :)

unfortunately, my camera wasn't too nice to me and acted wonky...
just am glad i managed to take some pictures along the way :)

We had a whirlwind trip from Vancouver - Portland - Seattle - Vancouver.
Lots to see, lots to eat, loads of photos (crazy i think i'd taken over 2000 picutres!) yikes i'm in for trouble sorting...

Lastly, i shall leave you with a layout i created using The Color Room's Palette #25. The colors are stunning and have such zing!

catch you again, and thanks for popping by! :)

photosource: flickr.com

before i disappear and tie up somemore stuff, here're the remaining of my layouts using SCARLET LIME'S SEPT kit.

did i tell you this could be my most favourite kit from ScarletLime? now you know why ... because i think 7 gypsies and Glitz designs are a match made in heaven here!

here's two layouts using pics from a recent funfair. The best part- face painting!
it is really addictive :)

some cards using Melissa France's :

this card was made for a special someone ...

and another

and remember i was excited about something :)
excited is an understatement, really.
Last November I was in Malaysia.
I will in Malaysia again this November.
This time without my kids. (wohoo! ha! sorry ... no doubt they mean the world to me). This time not for a vacay.

Details have been confirmed weeks ago, in the midst of preparations and i think in
the process of it all, my hands are getting v clammy! I was asked to teach a workshop in November at one of the hottest mall to hangout in Malayia, Kuala Lumpur.

Where : Papier Love, The Curve (KL)
When : 20th November Saturday

more details to follow when i get back. seriously, this is seemingly beyond my imagination and i haven't expect this to come my way at all. Hope to see you if you are in Malaysia!

and on the last note, THANK YOU for your kindness in stopping by my little corner here. Please don't ditch me; i'll be gone for a while.
Be blessed....

Make my everyday a Hallelujah...

HAPPY THURSDAY !! :)

last Friday over at THE COLOR ROOM, we played with this muted toned palette. and how far have we gone this is palette No. #22 already!

i'm a hambly-hoarder can you tell?

we're so excited we're more or less packed for the coming trip. so hyped about it :)
and talking about excitement; something is going to happen come November. something that is Significant to Me ! Some of you might have received some leaks ... anyway, i might just let the cat out of the bag sometime soon. Indeed this year has been an amazing ride. What i can do but to praise Him and make everyday a Hallelujah. It humbles me to be loved by a God So High... truly.

moving on... this month's SCARLET LIME kit is amazing. the Main kit? - swoon. MY favourite so far. Mix urban chic with some shabbiness, i'm a goner. I shall upload my layouts soon. Here are what i did with Scarlet Lime's Halloween Kit. All in the name of mere fun and experimenting with fun embellishments...

** Orange and black organza not included in the kit**

and another

okie, i might pop in with another post before we Jet Set to VC....
and in response to blog comments - i will not be able to create the ChipArt Tool Jewelery items, unfortunately. there happened to be some confusion in my box. Just thought i'll let you know !

Do drop by HERE for a giveaway !
God Bless...
